After creating tonal pieces of work for our world project we were then assigned the task of creating environment drawings with colour. These where to be shots of the world from different perspectives and to include characters in some for scale. It was suggested that we find a middle colour first and paint our own gradient- this was mainly what I did as well as base my colour palette off the work my team mates did. For the smalls world I had a harder time trying to figure out how to incorporate the different shades of colour, basically because their world is so clustered and full of buildings. The first digital drawing I ended up doing looked very dark and gloomy.. it almost looks like a prison sitting on the edge of a cliff. So, I tried again, this time using brighter blues and some greens. I also threw in a bit of pink just for variation and because I thought it fitted with the rest of the colours aesthetically. The third piece was a bit of a mess, I didn't really like where I was going with it
